Pluralistic counselling

The Pluralistic approach is collaborative as it allows for shared decision-making regarding the style of counselling that is best for the individual and is deeply rooted in values of empathy, acceptance and being true to yourself.

People can be helped in different ways at different stages of counselling and a Pluralistic counsellor can effectively facilitate this as they are trained in several counselling styles. This approach is also personalised and encourages client empowerment in the mutuality of the counselling relationship, enabling the person to explore their feelings and move forward confidently in their life.
